The Bed & Breakfast we Stayed at in The Bay of Naples

I didn’t plan to show you guys the B&B we stayed at last week in the Bay of Naples, but my enthusiasm led the way to write about it anyway. It’s called B&B Paradise and is located just outside coastal town Vico Equense.

The view from B&B paradise over both the bay and Vico Equense is breathtaking. The main reason why we picked this place. The house is kind of hard to reach if you’re not an experienced driver (make sure to rent a small car), but the view is truly amazing. An experience on itself. The firework during New Year’s Eve was so fascinating to see from the town. We could even see firework from Naples on the other side of the bay.

The house itself is really simple but provides all necessities. I found that the outdoor space is what makes this B&B so incredibly special. Its land is huge and royal located on top of the mountain. It has several relax areas, and different levels filled with olive and orange trees (which gives the ultimate Italian feeling).

Enrico is the owner who lives in a separate house one level up on the same land. He made sure we had the best time and offered help whenever needed. We would casually meet him in town and have a spontaneous coffee or wine with him, which made me feel like we were part of the locals.

January is usually the coldest and wettest month of the year in Italy, but the weather was soft: not cold, not warm. We had rainy days and sunny days.

Vico Equense is right in the middle of the most beautiful places to visit in this area. The Amalfi coast is just on the other side of the mountain (pay a visit to Positano), Naples is only an hour away (find my city guide here), Sorrento is just half an hour away, also the place where you can get the boat to Capri.
