Riad Houma in Marrakech

Riad Houma in Marrakech

If you’re a balcony and roof-terrace addict just like me, Riad Houma is the perfect riad for you to stay in Marrakech. Having booked this riad in particular for the roof-terrace, I was still mind blown when entering the open space. Even after a few times coming up, I guess.

The roof terrace has a bunch of different relaxing areas. Or actually, every corner of it is meant to sit back and chill. Wooden sofas with white (and clean) cushions, lots of sunbeds and not to have mentioned the jacuzzi. (tip: have a bath in it around sunset time)

The rooms have an oriental slash modern interior design. Really clean, just slightly dark, but I can imagine that might be a huge relief in Marrakech’s hot summers.

The owners are a super kind French couple who moved to Marrakech three years ago with their young son. I can’t help but feel slightly jealous of them living in this beautiful city. Or should I say feeling admired?

Oh and ask to have your breakfast on the roof-terrace. Nothing beats waking up with an amazing view.

Another riad I stayed at in Marrakech: Riad Dar Ten.
