MrJordaan Hotel For a True Amsterdam Experience

It can’t get any more real than this, MrJordaan hotel brings us a true Amsterdam experience. Located on one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam, Bloemgracht, and in one of the trendiest areas of the city, the Jordaan. You will in between those beautiful, typical Amsterdam houses, which used to be warehouses ages ago.

I stayed in the Honeymoon suite with a cute view on the roofs of Amsterdam. The rooms have a nice interior design that is continued through the entire hotel. A warm, vintage ambiance with lots of cool metal and wooden details. It feels trendy yet nostalgic. The rooms are small but pretty good for Dutch understandings.

The overall feeling of the hotel is really intimate and cozy, an atmosphere that we Dutchies find really important. The city can be quite harsh and cold (literally and figurately speaking) but you will feel comfortable as soon as you enter a building. Having breakfast at Mr. Jordaan is like having a breakkie at home, except for the wide variety of yummy food.

What to do in the neighborhood? Have a coffee and apple pie at Winkel 43 and dinner at Cafe George. Do some shopping at the Nine Streets and have drinks (move your hips) at Waterkant. All on walking distance!
